New regulations on photography ban - important for anyone with a camera or phone in hand!   

As of 18 April 2025, a new decree of the Minister of Defence is in force, which clarifies the rules prohibiting photographing, filming and in any way capturing the image of persons, objects and movable property related to the military and national defence .This is a consequence of changes to the Homeland Defence Act, which were enacted back in 2023. It is primarily about countering espionage and protecting information of strategic importance to national security.
What is changing? 

Clear rules on when and where you need to get permission to photograph.
The design of the no-photography sign - it will now look uniform across the country. 
A specific way in which the sign is to be visible and positioned.
Why is this important? Because breaching these regulations can have serious legal consequences. If you work in the media, run a blog, take photos professionally or as a hobby - it's worth knowing what to avoid so you don't get into legal trouble.
